ALCOHOL & other DRUG
EDUCATION SEMINARS

We deliver an intervention and preventative processes-based education to recalibrate cultural perceptions and values through ‘fence building’ resiliency developing processes. Our aim is best practice, that is to steer young people away from the cultural expectation of participation, towards the proactive and protection option of the ‘not having to’ approach. We minimising harm by maximising prevention.

    • Understand the science and effects drugs have on the body and developing brain.

    • Learn positive strategies in the decision-making process towards alcohol and drugs.

    • Understand the legal obligations and duty of care

    • To apply best practice principles surrounding alcohol and drug consumption

    • Identity risks and the dangers of experimentation, drug abuse, and dependency.

  • Across a school term (8-10 Weeks)
1 Period, per week (Can increase depending on the needs of the group)

  • The program is designed for, but not limited to young men who are at risk of drug experimentation, criminal behaviour, and gang affiliation. However, works best with a mix of leadership students.

  • Small to large groups
